Originally she came on the Island from Venezuela.
Being an Island most living creatures came from the main land
and still there are more to come-over.
An example of recent inhabitant would be the "Sapu di mata".
Came from Venezuela about 10 years ago and lives
abundantly on the Island ever since.
The " Sapu Koper " is a mid-size frog meaning much bigger
than all the other frogs we have on the Island.
She measures rear to front about 8 cm in sitting position.
twice as big as the "Common frog" "Sapu pia blanku".

It's Copper colour is best view in it's natural habitat.
We have capture one and you can clearly notice how dull
it's colour gets in captivity.
She's a Tree-Frog. Living in trees, plants and other vegetations.
We can't tell if she is poisonous or not.
She has a rough body and enlarged toe tips.
These toes makes her a terrific climber.
Under certain conditions ( at night ) her head
and toes glows purplish to white colour.
