Mot Tres huki


The " Mot Tres huki " ( Local name ) means " Mot 3 corners " or
" Triangle Mot ".
DESCRIPTIONS:
It's head make an important part of the triangle.
This Mot looks very similar with the " Barbulete kabes di Flecha ".
When both these Mots have their wings closed,
only the " Mot Tres huki " still show it's back.
The back of the " Mot Flecha " is NOT visible with closed wing.
It's colours are: beige, gray and black.
Their body lenght is approximately 20mm excluding antenae.

Some difference between a Mot and a Butterfly:
* Antenae of a Mot does'nt have a ball at the end.
* Mots are mostly night insects.
* Mots lack vibrant colours like Butterflies.
* Mots sleep with open wings while Butterflies closed theirs.
* The pupa of a Butterfly hangs unprotected while Mots protects theirs
in the soil, rolled-up in leaves or covered with mud.
* Mots react on light, vibration and scent while Butterflies on
colour, temperature and scent.
