Pingie:

Pingie ta un Lagadishi pero na chikitu.
Un reptiel di sanger friew ku mester di kajente
di Solo pa su kurpa por hanja energia.
No demasiado si, pasobra reptiel-nan no por kontrola
nan propio temperatura manera Hende, Mamifero i Para.
Un reptiel meskos tambe Amfibio-nan ta kohe e temperatura
ku ta reina rondo di nan. Si nan keda para den Solo hopi
nan kurpa ta kalenta di mas.Ora esaki ta bai tuma luga,
por nota kla kon nan ta keda ku nan boka habri i tambe
nan ta hisa e pia dilanti i move e dede-nan i pone abow.
Despues nan ta hasi meskos ku e otro pia.
Por nota tambe kla ku nan pia-nan di patras ta mas grandi
ku esnan dilanti. Ora nan tin ku kore duru pa peliger,
por ripara ku e kurpa dilanti ta lanta for di tera, door ku e
pia-nan dilanti NO por bai mes duru ku esnan patras (grandi).
Serka Juana esaki ta mas notabel door ku Juana ta mas kouteloso
i no ta duda pa saka e tipo di kareda ei.

Pingie is actually a small lizard.
Wildly spread on the Island and like all other Reptiles, the Pingie
is also cold-blooded. It gets it's temperature from the sun to warm-up
it's body. We should say that it's temperature is completely dependant
of it's ambient temperature. Meaning that it cannot controle it's own
temperature like Humans, Mamals and Birds do.
Reptiles and Amphibians heat-up or cool-down their body using their
ambient temperature. If the Pingie expose itself for a long time in the heat,
it will begin showing this by opening it's mouth and lifting it's front legs
in alternation. Another interesting feature of the Pingie is it's feet.
The rear feet is larger and this will be used when danger arise.
Running away from danger will result in the rear feet going faster than
the front legs, as result the Pingie will has to raise it's front body and
front legs from the ground and propel completly on it's rear power.
This kind of reaction we see more common here on the Island with the
Iguana's ( Juana ). The local Iguana's are more careful and shy, and dont
hesitate to take this kind of run.
